Terms of Use
Effective date · This is the EULA referenced from the App Store listing and from the paywall in the app.
1. What you're agreeing to
These terms are an agreement between you and legal entity name. By downloading or using Spark Break you accept them. If you don't, don't use the app.
2. Licence, not sale
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Spark Break on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You don't buy the software itself, and you may not copy, resell, decompile or attempt to work around its licensing.
3. Subscriptions and payment
A new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew for the same period unless auto-renew is switched off at least 24 hours before the current period ends; the renewal charge is taken within 24 hours of that point. Prices may differ by country and may change — we will tell you before a change affects you.
Cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Any unused part of a free trial is lost when you buy a subscription.
4. Refunds
Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves, but write to us if something went wrong and we'll help you make the case.
5. What the app can and can't do
Spark Break relies on Apple's Screen Time framework. Usage figures it shows you are approximate by design, notifications can be delayed by the operating system, and a limit can always be passed deliberately. It is not a parental control product and it cannot prevent anyone from deleting the app.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Spark Break to control another adult without their knowledge, to break the law, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend an account that does.
7. Warranties and liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss; our total liability is limited to what you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
8. Apple's role
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce these terms against you.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may end this licence if you materially break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — liability, governing law — do.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of jurisdiction, and disputes go to its courts, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app before they apply, and continuing to use Spark Break after that means you accept them. Questions: [email protected].
